In general, the work shall include crack filling and seal coating approximately 8,300 feet of Lahr Avenue and 2,900 feet of Fust Lane. The Town may elect to award some but not all of the work. The approximate units of the major work items are as follows: Lahr Avenue 8,300 feet long Crack Filling on street Seal Coat on street surface of 21,000 square yards Fust Lane feet long Crack Filling on street 2,900 Seal Coat on street surface of 8,200 square yards No bids shall be considered unless. submitted on the official Proposal form. The Town of Weston reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Town. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 21 days after the actual time of opening the bids. No Bid Bond is required. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the total bid price, together with an executed Agreement in the form prescribed by the Town, will be required of the successful bidder. The work shall consist of crack filling with a sealant material meeting ASTM D6690, and bituminous seal coating with stone cover aggregate. The work shall be done in accordance with Sections 455, 460 and 475 of Standard Specifications. This work shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for Crack Filling and the application of Bituminous Seal Coating as directed. The work, to be completed between June 1, 2024 and AUGUST 15, 2024, shall include crack filling and chip sealing on Lahr Avenue and Fust Lane. The Town may elect to award some or all of the work as bids and budgets allow. The quantities in the bid form are estimated and not guaranteed. The work on all streets may not be awarded based on bid totals and allotted budgets. All work shall conform to WDOT Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction (Latest Edition Standard Specifications) and WDOT Special Provisions for Performance Based Maintenance (2021 Edition).
