Texas State University (Owner) is solicitingCompetitive Sealed Proposals (Proposals) for selection of a General Contractor firm to replace the Cast Iron and Galvanized piping from the Evans Liberal Arts Building located on the University campus (Project), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals. Deadline for Questions June 19th, 2024 @5:00 PM CT The University seeks to obtain proposals to replace the cast iron and galvanized piping from the Evans Liberal Arts Building. This project will involve multiple types and applications including but not limited to the detailed scope of work below. 2.3.1 Respondentshall provide allsupervision, labor, material, equipment, insurance, licenses, bonding and supplies to perform said project. a) Demo and replace all galvanized water piping throughout the building. b) Demo and replace all cast iron, DWV piping throughout the building. c) Demo walls and flooring - replace with matching finishes d) Demo all existing 3.5gpf water closets and replace with Kohler 1.28gpf Wellcomme Ultra Elongated Floor Mount, Floor discharge, Flushometer Bowl #K-96053 e) Demo all existing 3.5gpf ADA water closets and replace with Kohler 1.28gpf Highcliff Ultra Elongated Bowl, Floor Mount Flushometer Bowl, ADA Compliant #K-96057 f) Provide and Install Water Closet Flushometer - Sloan, Royal Sensor Flushometer, Royal 111 SMO, 1.28gpf g) Demo all existing urinals and replace with Kohler Dexter Siphon-Jet Wall Mount 0.5 urinal top h) Provide and Install new Urinals Flushometer - Sloan, Royal Sensor Flushometer, Royal 186 SMO 0.5gpf i) Provide and install new copper piping and fittings (ProPress acceptable) j) Provide and install new copper pipe fiberglass insulation with labels k) Provide and install new cast iron DWV and Husky No-Hub Couplings. Use Charlotte Cast Iron Part No. NH 25 Figure Five Double Fixture Fitting in place of all double combinations. No sanitary crosses may be used. Must use same size currently being used. l) Provide and install cleanouts.
