The contractor shall be required to furnish all supervision, equipment, labor, and material necessary to install, repair, replace, and/or maintain commercial, pedestrian/passage doors, fencing, sliding, and swing gates, turnstiles, electric and manual overhead roll-up doors, motor controllers, gate operators, door components and wiring at various philadelphia gas works (PGW) locations. contract term: two (2) year contract term; with the option of two (2), one (1) year renewals. All questions concerning this request for quotation must be submitted via procureware online website by february 5, 2024, by 11:00 am. the basis of award is based on lowest responsive and responsible bidder. minority participation goals: philadelphia gas works (pgw) has established an anti-discrimination policy relating to the participation of minority, women, veteran, and/or disabled owned business enterprises collectively known as disadvantage business enterprises ("dbes") in contracts and in workforces, which policy is designed to provide equal opportunity for all businesses and persons to assure that its funds are not used, directly or indirectly, to promote, reinforce or perpetuate discriminatory practices. bidders must complete attachment i (demographic survey), attached hereto and submit same with their bids. for this project, pgw has not established ranges for the participation of dbes, but bidder is encouraged to exercise best and good faith efforts to include dbes in this bid and in bidder's supply chain.
