Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Longueuil, Quebec. Design plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a 19,225-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Phased demolition and reconstruction of the City fire hall 22. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new building located on the parking lot, demolition of the existing structure and construction of a new parking lot, complete renovation of the rear facade (masonry and windows) of the administrative centre located at 350 Curé-Poirier and patching of the premises adjacent to the fire hall. The project may include construction of a geothermal heating system. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. The owner has issued a request for proposals from mechanical and electrical engineering professional consulting firms for design of the project that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Caserne 22 Replacement - ME Engineering. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling working drawings are expected to begin in early/spring 2025. Schedules for further project development are being finalized.
