The City of Hazlehurst, Mississippi will accept statements of qualifications from qualified consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for wastewater collection and treatment projects which include funding with Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (WPCRLF). Engineering services shall include facilities planning, design, pre-construction, contract administration, interviews of contractor employees during construction, construction review and project closeout services, in accordance with the requirements of the funding agency(s). The projects may include renovations and improvements to existing wastewater treatment facilities, pumping systems, and collection systems. Each Statement of Qualifications must not exceed 30 pages and shall include the following: 1. QUALIFICATIONS of each staff person assigned to the project team. 2. EXPERIENCE of each staff person assigned to the team, including specific experience with WPCRLF projects, wastewater treatment upgrade projects, and renovations of sewage pump stations and collection systems. 3. CAPACITY of assigned team to meet the schedule deadlines of submitting approvable Plans and Specifications to MDEQ. Statements of Qualifications will be rated on the following system: QUALIFICATIONS 30 points; EXPERIENCE 40 points; CAPACITY 30 points. The City of Hazlehurst shall evaluate each submission and may qualify two or more proposers for contract negotiation, beginning with the highest rated firm.
