Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
McGill University's proposed project for the New Vic includes the total or partial deconstruction of existing pavilions on the RVH site (rear of Pavilion A and the complete deconstruction of Pavilions M, S and T), the restoration and reuse of the heritage portions of Pavilions A, E and L, and the construction of a new wing in place of the deconstructed pavilions, in addition to the new spaces planned under the main courtyard in front of the old hospital. The mandate that is the subject of this call for tenders concerns ventilation and air conditioning works. TIMELINE: After a thorough assessment and internal consultations, the owner has decided to revise our approach to better meet the needs and objectives of this project and cancelled the sub trade tender C0003709. If/when a new tender for this sub trade is issued, it will be followed in a new separate report. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
