Description: Maine Federal Aid Project No. 1876924, WIN 18769.24. Location: In Penobscot County: Segment 1 is located on Interstate 95 Southbound beginning at the Kirkland Road in Old Town and extending south 14.20 miles to Exit 180 off ramp in Hermon. Segment 2 is located on Interstate 95 Northbound beginning at the Exit 180 on ramp in Hampden and extending north 14.21 miles north to the Kirkland Road in Old Town. Segment 4 is located on Interstate 95 Southbound beginning in T2 R8 NWP and extending south 33.65 miles to the Kirkland Road in Old Town. In Aroostook County: Segment 3 is located in Interstate 95 Northbound beginning 0.40 mile south of the US Route 2 overpass in Dyer Brook and extending north 20.92 miles to the US/Canadian border in Houlton. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
