Award amount is $1,022,708.75** 2024 ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CONTRACT NO. 5100-205 WARWICK TOWNSHIP BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA The work at the Public Works Facility will generally include the full-width mill and overlay of the interior parking lot (2,585 SY/250 TON). The work will also include 80 SY of pavement repair, 75 TON of leveling scratch course, the removal and replacement of 205 L.F. of PVC fencing and a new 24-foot wide automatic sliding gate. The work along the Township roadways shall generally include the full-width mill and overlay of 15 Township Roadways (54,905 SY/5,050 TON). The Contract will also include 220 LF of concrete curb replacements, 1,268 SF of concrete sidewalk replacements, 50 L.F. of concrete cheek wall, 68 SF of truncated dome inserts, 1,770 SY of pavement repair, 297 GAL rubberized crack seal, 1,407 TON leveling scratch course, the replacement of 2 EA traffic signal loops, two traffic calming devices and the replacement of all pavement markings. All work and materials shall be in accordance with online Standards and Specifications. Proposals must be made upon the forms furnished by the Township, as available on online This project is subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry and, therefore, must be bid as such. The project is subject to the terms of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of 2012). Completed and signed "Public Works Employment Verification Form" is required as a precondition to the award of the Contract and is to be submitted as part of the submission of the bid. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount for the work detailed in Attachment #1. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate bonds with corporate surety issued by companies authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the prescribed forms dated the date of the Contract, or separate Federal or Commonwealth chartered lending institution irrevocable letters of credit in a form accepted and approved by the Township, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor. Bids must be accompanied by an executed Non-Collusion Affidavit as set forth in the Contract Documents. Failure to submit an Affidavit with the bid proposal may result in disqualification of the bid. The Award of the Contract, if a contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, as described in the Instructions to Bidders' Section of the Contract Documents, but the Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The Township also reserves the right to delete any "item" or portion of an "item" contained in the Contract at its discretion, once bids are received. Prior to awarding the Contract, bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders.
