The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) for the Commonwealth of Virginia has engaged HDR Architecture to assist with the furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) procurement related to this Invitation for Bid (IFB). All purchase orders will be issued by DBHDS through the online Procurement system. Installation 3/05/2024 (Start No earlier than) Art Installation completion date 5/8/2024 (Finish No later than) A bid bond is not required. Shipments arriving at the loading dock must be coordinated with Linh Le linh.le@hdrinc.com (HDR Onsite team member) prior to shipping. The vendor will be responsible for moving all shipped materials from loading dock location to install location. Materials can be delivered to 4901 E. Patrick Henry Hwy, Burkeville, VA 23922. Shipments must be labeled "VCBR / Art Install Materials" on the outside. Tracking must be provided to Linh Le linh.le@hdrinc.com Installation is to be performed by workmen with experience with installing artwork. The Vendor/ Supplier must provide installation supervision and confirm pre-installation conditions (i.e., support structure) as applicable. Installation requirements are provided for each piece of art where the art piece is specified. The Vendor must deliver the art and complete installation by May 8, 2024. Vendor/Supplier must notify HDR/DBHDS if the installation schedule cannot be met in its bid. Within one week of receipt of order, vendor must provide detailed acknowledgement of order, including expected start of installation date. Be sure to comply with all the specifications, terms, and conditions of this Invitation for Bid. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. Any bid in response to this solicitation must be valid for 60 days. At the end of the 60 days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is cancelled. DBHDS reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informality in the bid.
