The Work generally includes Permitting and Construction. Project includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, materials, and services to perform the repair work as shown on the drawings and specifications, and as described herein. The Project generally consists of the repair of structural concrete building components and surfaces exposed to waste water, treatment chemicals and moisture, resulting in delamination from reinforcing steel corrosion (spalling), cracking, and surface deterioration. Work is located in the City of Sunrise at 14150 NW 8th Street, Sunrise, FL 33325 and 4350 Springtree Drive, Sunrise, FL 33351Qualification Requirement: The Contractor shall have any of the following: Florida Certified General Contractor's License OR Florida Certified Specialty Contractor's License. The Contractor must have worked on 3 projects over the past 5 years of similar size and scope. Scope of Work: The Sawgrass Wastewater Treatment consists of two aeration trains A & B and four clarification tanks per train. The Springtree Wastewater Treatment consists of four clarification tanks and an aeration tank. The tanks at both plants are connected by a steel bridge/catwalk that can be accessed from the ground. The number of calendar days from the Notice to Proceed Date, through the date set forth for Substantial Completion, shall constitute the Contract Time. The Contractor shall furthermore achieve Final Completion of the Work no later than Thirty (30) calendar days after date of Substantial Completion.
