The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive, sealed Bids to furnish supplemental plumbing services with sewer & drain cleanouts for Volusia County, Florida. The County is looking to promote partnership relationships within the policies and procedures of public procurement. Pursuant toward that end, the successful Contractor(s) shall be awarded an Agreement for an initial three (3) year term with the option for (2) subsequent one (1) year renewals.. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual written agreement and, when applicable, approval of County Council. Questions and exceptions shall be submitted before 11:59 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Thereafter, no further questions or exceptions will be accepted or reviewed by the County and Bidders' right to submit questions or exceptions will terminate and any questions or exceptions not previously made shall be deemed waived. Oral representations will not be binding on the County. The County of Volusia reserves the right to allow for the clarification of questionable entries and the correction of OBVIOUS MISTAKES. The County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in Bid Submittals, providing such action is in the best interest of the County. Minor irregularities are defined as those that have no adverse effect on the County's best interests, and will not affect the outcome of the selection process by giving the Bidder an advantage or benefit not enjoyed by other Bidders.
