Description of Work: 1. Work consists of removal existing sidewalks and patio and pouring new concrete sidewalks and patio in the same locations and same sizes with slope away from building, Approximately 4,322 sq ft, per local and state building codes and current industry standards. 2. All new expansion joints around foundation of building are to be sealed with SikaFlex Self- Leveling Sealant or equal, larger gaps should be filled with appropriate backer rod material before installation of sealant. 3. All work shall be accomplished within sixty (60) calendar days from the date designated by the notice to proceed. The project is located at 55 Wade Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supplies required for replacement of sidewalks and patio at the Dix Building at Spring Grove Hospital Center in according with the terms, conditions and specifications. The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquated damages of $ 250.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions. The base bid shall include without limitation, labor, materials, bailing, shoring, removal, overhead, profit, insurance (including builder's risk insurance, if applicable) etc. The deadline for questions has been established as _February 15, 2024, at 10am to assure that there is enough time to allow the A/E to provide responses and Addendum issuance if necessary.
