The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for Kitchen ACM Abatement at our Walworth IRA located at 4500 Ontario Center Rd, Walworth, NY 14568. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 60 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the Asbestos Abatement Project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. The Asbestos Abatement Project consists of removal and disposal of asbestos containing flooring within Kitchen and Associated Hallway located on the First Floor of 4500 Ontario Center Road, Walworth, New York. Materials to be removed are located interior of the home. The work shall be performed in accordance with this specification and all other applicable State and Federal Regulations. The Agency reserves the right to make awards within (90) days or such longer period as shall be specified in the RFQ documents after the date of the RFQ deadline, during which period quotes shall not be withdrawn unless the bidder distinctly states in the quote that acceptance thereof must be made within a shorter specified time. If, however, an award is not affected within the ninety (90) day period, a quote shall remain firm until such later time as either a contract is awarded by the State or the contractor delivered to the Agency written notice of the withdrawal of the quote.
