Future upgrades to government of Ontario buildings. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by the owner. This call is a Request For Standing Offer has been initiated to establish a list of qualified Suppliers who hold the necessary experience, skills and understanding to complete one of two types of buildings condition assessments and reporting for base building components associated with Ontario Government Buildings within the Governments General Real Estate Portfolio (GREP). These assessments include conducting either 1) a Building Condition Assessment (BCA) for owned assets with GREP or 2) a Joint Technical Review (JTR) for asset under Public Private Partnership (P3) management. The building condition assessment (BCA) shall address the overall condition of the subject base building system and that of the individual components broken down into their associated Uniformat Codes. The BCA is to focus on the base building components only and not that of the Tenant responsibility components/systems by utilizing the Building Capital Responsibility Matrix (attachment) which delineates responsibility. The building condition assessment will include a facility profile in addition to a site review of the specific building components including costing for recommended needs, repair, overhaul and renewal.
