Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waterford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.

**As of March 25,2024 has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: Approximately 25,000 square feet of sidewalk with associated driveway and restoration repairs. Prior to the time and date designated for receipt of Bids, any Bid that has been submitted may be modified or withdrawn via email to kmarkee@waterfordmi.gov. Such notice shall be in writing over the signature of the Bidder. Written confirmation over the signature of the Bidder shall be received, and date - and time-stamped by the receiving party on or before the date and time set for receipt of Bids. A change shall be so worded as not to reveal the amount of the original Bid. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bids may also be hand delivered to the City Office prior to the bid opening. The same reference to bid packages as indicated above also applies to bids being hand delivered. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of Contractor's obligations under the Contract. These bonds must remain in effect until one year after the date when final payment becomes due or until completion of the correction period specified in Paragraph 15.08, whichever is later, except as provided otherwise by Laws or Regulations, the terms of a prescribed bond form, the Supplementary Conditions, or other provisions of the Contract. The Work will be substantially complete on or before August 2, 2024, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before August 30, 2024. Substantial Completion: Contractor shall pay Owner $1,000.00 for each day that expires after the time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) specified above for Substantial Completion, until the Work is substantially complete. Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if Contractor shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the Contract Times (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment, Contractor shall pay Owner $1,000.00 for each day that expires after such time until the Work is completed and ready for final payment. The Project includes the following Work: Intermittent sidewalk replacement from Elizabeth Lake Road to Telegraph Road along M-59. The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: Approximately 25,000 square feet of sidewalk with associated driveway and restoration repairs.
