Project Description the City of Bellingham ("City") is Issuing This Request for Qualifications (Rfq) (Invitation No. 7b-2024 From Consulting Firms Interested in Providing Professional Design Services for the Lake Whatcom Vault Retrofits, Phase 1 (City Project # Ev176) Project. This Planned Project is Part of the Effort Aimed at Reducing Phosphorus Loading in Stormwater Through Retrofitting Existing Stormwater Treatment Facilities to Maximize Nutrient-removal. Up to Five Existing, City-owned, Public Stormwater Facilities Will Be Retrofitted With Treatment Systems Designed for Phosphorus Removal Along With Tss and Dissolved Copper and Zinc. The Preferred Option is Post Media (Guld From the Department of Ecology Assessment Protocol - Ecology (Tape) Program) as It is Expected to Provide the Highest Phosphorus Removal Rate for the Lowest Lifetime Maintenance Cost. Services, Including Professional Engineering Services, and Construction Engineering and/or Administration, May Be Added/removed From the Contract Contingent Upon Funding Availability and Project Needs.
