Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gig Harbor, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be completed under this contract generally consists of frontage improvements, including site and utility improvements focused on the installation of a new sidewalk; roadway grading will occur throughout the project limits to assist site drainage, provide driveway connections, and ensure Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance to the maximum extent feasible for curb ramps along the sidewalk; the existing stormwater conveyance system will be replaced throughout the project limits; luminaires will be added throughout the project corridor to provide adequate lighting along the new sidewalk; and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the contract documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Gig Harbor The City of Gig Harbor reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process. The City of Gig Harbor reserves the right to award this contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the Bid Proposal.
