It is the intention of Midland Independent School (MISD) District is soliciting proposals from qualified HVAC service and repairs at our MISD campuses/departments. Midland ISD intends to enter into a contract with one or more firms to provide HVAC services and repairs Deadline for Responses to Questions: 02/15/2024 Estimated Award Date: March 2024 The length of the contract is to be a one-year term with an option to extend for two additional years. The selected HVAC service provider will be responsible for the following services: a)Preventive Maintenance: Regular inspection and maintenance of HVAC systems. Replacement of filters, belts, and other components as needed. b)Repairs: Timely and efficient repair of HVAC system malfunctions. Emergency response to critical HVAC issues. c)System Upgrades and Replacements: Assessment and recommendations for system upgrades. Replacement of outdated or inefficient HVAC units. d)Energy Efficiency Improvements: Proposals for improving the energy efficiency of existing HVAC systems. Implementation of energy-saving measures. e)Reporting and Documentation: Detailed documentation of all maintenance and repair activities. Regular reporting on the condition of HVAC systems. The successful Respondent (s) (also referred to as Contractor Offeror or Firm herein) shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, and supplies required to provide services in accordance with the contract requirements stated herein. Question Cuttoff Date & Time: 2/8/2024 06:00:00 PM (ET) Prices must be firm for a minimum of 120 days from bid/proposal/proposal opening date and no bid/proposal/proposal may be withdrawn without written approval after a contract has been signed or partial performance of the bid/proposal agreement has been obtained from the District. In case of error, unit prices shall govern. The District is exempt from Federal Excise Tax, State Tax and Local Tax. Do not include tax in bid/proposal. If it is determined that tax was included in the bid/proposal, it will not be included in the tabulation or any awards. Tax exemption certificates will be furnished upon request. The District reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any bid/proposal, waive minor technicalities and award the bid/proposal to best serve the interest of the District. The District reserves the right to purchase additional articles as listed on this bid/proposal subject to verification of the same or lower prices and conditions as bid/proposal. If the bid/proposal states estimated quantities, this statement is not a guarantee of quantities to be purchased. The Vendor does not have a claim to the estimated total; nor the adjustment of the unit price.
