Reference Number 0000263536 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/21 02:00:00 PM EST Monthly and Annual inspection, testing, reporting and the updating of AutoCAD drawings of tested Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, and Standpipe systems shall be conducted in accordance with CAN/ULC- S536 and NFPA 25. Kitchen hood cleaning and suppression system semi-annual inspection, testing, and reporting shall be in accordance with NFPA 17, NFPA 17A, NFPA 96, and NFPA 2001 (where applicable). Annual fire hydrant testing shall be in accordance with Ontario Fire Code Subsection 6.6.4. Monthly and Annual inspection, testing, and reporting of fire extinguishers and hose cabinets shall be conducted in accordance with the Ontario Fire Code, NFPA 10, NFPA 25, and NFPA 1996 (where applicable). CAD file drawings of fire alarm, sprinkler, and standpipe systems shall be reviewed and/or updated on a quarterly basis. The Supplier is responsible for verifying and updating the drawings based on any changes to these systems made by renovations. The Supplier will be notified of ongoing construction and renovations. Prior to, or during the first inspection, the Supplier shall be responsible for recording the location of all devices on the supplied drawings. The supplied CAD drawings will likely be outdated. The Supplier shall provide technical and professional services for periodic inspection, testing and related repairs of the fire protection systems at the specified University of Toronto buildings located at Mississauga Campus, 3359 Mississauga Rd., Mississauga, ON L5L 1C6. The Supplier shall provide eight (8) hours of training to all relevant UTM staff. The 8 hours shall be comprised of two (2) four (4) hour training sessions covering the topics of existing fire alarm systems, sprinkler, and standpipe systems. Specifics shall include, but not limited to, fire pump testing/operation, fire alarm control panel operation (bypasses, signal silence, etc.), isolation valve locations, special hazard suppression systems, etc. This Request for Proposal is issued by Facilities Management and Planning, University of Toronto Mississauga, on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto, for Proponents to perform the Maintenance Services for Fire Protection Systems for the University of Toronto Mississauga, 3359 Mississauga Road, Mississauga. Estimated Commencement date: May 1, 2024 The term of the agreement will be for three (3) years plus two (2) additional one (1) year extensions. Occurrence Based Comprehensive Commercial General Liability Insurance With a Limit in an Amount of Not Less Than $2,000,000 Per Occurrence. Such Insurance Will Include Coverage for Personal Injury Liability, Bodily Injury Liability, Advertising Injury Liability, Products and Completed Operations Liability, Blanket Contractual Liability (Including Liability for Damage to or Losses Relating to Performance by Supplier of Its Obligations Set Forth Herein), Property Damage Liability (Including Liability for Damage to or Losses Relating to a University Location and Any University or Other Third Party Chattels, Property, Merchandise, Trade Fixtures, or Monies), and Business Interruption Relating to the University's Operations.
