Reference Number 0000263535 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/09 02:00:00 PM EST Bid Intent Deadline 2024/02/08 02:00:00 PM EST The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to select a Material Supply and Delivery Contractor to supply, deliver, and release building materials for the initial civil and structure site works for the Weenusk First Nation Fire Station, as per the Bill of Materials (BOM) listed herein. All materials shall be as indicated in the specifications provided. 1. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to select a Material Supply and Delivery Contractor to supply, deliver, and release building materials for the initial civil and structure site works for the Weenusk First Nation Fire Station, as per the Bill of Materials (BOM) listed herein. All materials shall be as indicated in the specifications provided. 2. The successful Bidder will enter into an agreement to transfer ownership of the materials from to the Owner upon confirmation of goods received. 3. The following deadlines must be met for the work: a) Provide Complete Shop Drawings to Dillon: within ten (10) working days of the provision of the signed contract. b) Dillon to provide reviewed Shop Drawings within three (3) business days of receiving the shop drawings. 4. The bidder shall guarantee the delivery date in writing as part of the quotation. 5. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to carefully examine each item in this Material Selection, Purchase and Delivery document. All variances, exceptions and/or deviations shall be fully described in the appropriate section. Written explanations can accompany the quotation where sufficient room for explanation was not supplied. The Material Supply and Delivery Contractor shall be responsible for any loss of or damage to the Materials, or any part thereof, required to be supplied under the General Contract up to the time when the said Materials have been delivered to the job Site and has been received, and shall insure that said Materials in the full amount of the quotation price against loss or damage from any cause up to the said time. The Owner may require the Supplier to furnish evidence satisfactory to the Owner that such insurance has been provided.
