Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Yaphank, New York. Working plans call for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of the following: 1. Site Work a. Miscellaneous demolition work b. Erosion and sediment control c. Clearing, grubbing and site grading d. Paving and curb work e. Yard piping, manholes and interconnecting piping between new and existing systems f. Electrical power and control and instrumentation equipment, underground duct banks, conduits and cable for interconnecting of power and controls g. Replacement of site water service and associated RPZ assembly and enclosure h. Replacement of recharge bed valves i. Diesel standby generator 2. Influent Pump Station a. Precast concrete pump station and valve vault with access doors b. Influent pumps and associated piping and valves 3. Influent Screening a. Screen and Compactor system 4. Activated Sludge Treatment System a. Equalization tanks, pumps, blowers and submersible mixers b. Process tanks, pumps, blowers and submersible mixers c. Sludge holding tanks, pumps and blowers 5. Equipment Building a. Pre-Engineered building with blower and electrical rooms b. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, CCTV and fire alarm systems c. Miscellaneous piping and valves 6. Filter Building a. Pre-Engineered building with filter and control rooms b. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, CCTV and fire alarm systems c. Disk filters d. Miscellaneous piping and valves 7. Process Monitoring and Control System a. Process Monitoring and Control System including associated process control panels, fiber optic termination cabinets, operator workstation and instrumentation Bids for this contract shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the name of the contract clearly noted on the outside of the envelope. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder Document notes: "Bids & Proposals", then click "Please click here for access to the Suffolk County Purchasing System". You are responsible for downloading and printing all appropriate Contract Documents. You are also responsible for checking the site frequently to ensure that you have all addenda.
