The City of Wentzville is soliciting a Request for Proposals from qualified Firms for the excavation and/or repair of City above or underground utilities or facilities including, but not limited to water, stormwater, and wastewater systems, or debris clearing, in either emergency or non-emergency situations. Question Deadline 02/19/2024 at 10:00 AM CT Questions are to be submitted through electronically. There is a potential for emergency or non-emergency situations to arise in which the City Public Works Department does not have the proper manpower and/or equipment to successfully complete the necessary excavation, debris clearing, snow removal, and/or other necessary repairs. Therefore, the City needs to be able to contract the necessary manpower and/or tools, traffic control, and equipment on a short notice as-needed basis in order to complete such excavations, debris removal, snow removal, and/or repairs. This Agreement shall become immediately effective and legally binding on June 13, 2024 or the date last signed below (whichever occurs later), and shall remain in effect through June 30, 2025, with City reserving the option to renew for three (3) additional consecutive one-year periods, subject to the "Multi-year contracts; Non-appropriation" provisions of the attached Terms and Conditions. Upon expiration of the last term, the agreement will continue on a month-to-month basis until the City is able to obtain a new agreement through the process dictated by the City Procurement Policy. The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all proposals, or portions thereof, to waive technicalities or deficiencies in any or all the proposals. The City of Wentzville reserves the right to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety.
