The intent of this project is to perform renovations and repairs of an existing one story, 70' x 120' metal framed building that serves as the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) food and cover crew storage building. The building is in Piney Township, Clarion County on State Game Lands #330. The project consists of both general and electrical construction to perform renovations and repairs. General Construction work shall include removal of existing metal roofing and siding, removal of unwanted garage doors and windows, framing in unwanted garage doors, new metal roofing, metal siding, and trim, and install new gutter and downspouts. WORK AREA - The work area for this project is on State Game Lands #330. The building site is located at 2677 Mount Zion Road Sligo, PA 16255, in Piney Twp., Clarion County. The property is owned by the PGC. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive technical defects in Bids and to accept or reject any part of the Bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, and all Bidders will be advised of the Bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful Bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order. A Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount A Performance Bond at one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and conditions of the contract. Bidders shall be experienced and fully capable to perform the type and extent of Work required on this project. After Bids are opened, the PA Game Commission reserves the right to request the names and contact information from at least three (3) references for projects completed within the previous three (3) years that are similar in size and scope in order to verify experience and qualifications. The project consists of selective demolition, selective wood framing, removal and replacement of existing metal siding and roof, installation of new man and garage doors and minor masonry work at door frames.
