As of March 14,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Town seeks to replace approximately 630 linear feet of wooden picket, side-by-side privacy fence 12 feet in height, with 4 horizontal rails utilizing the existing metal poles. The pickets must be sealed with waterproofing material to prevent premature deterioration. The contractor is responsible for the removal, haul-off, and site restoration prior to acceptance and issuance of payment. Prospective bidder must complete a site visit in order to properly assess measurements and conditions for confirmation and accurately bid. AGREEMENT TERM: a)If the Respondent fails to perform its duties in a reasonable and competent manner, the Town shall give written notice to the Respondent of the deficiencies and the Respondent shall have thirty (30) days to correct such deficiencies. If the Respondent fails to correct the deficiencies within the thirty (30) days, the Town may terminate the agreement or letter of engagement by giving the Respondent written notice of termination and the reason for the termination. If the agreement or Letter of Engagement is terminated, for any reason, the Respondent shall turn over all records, to include but not be limited to the following: records of services, deliverables, and transactions, to the Town within fifteen (15) working days after b)completion of duties contained in the agreement or letter of engagement. 10.AWARD: The Town will select a single fencing company to complete the repair or replacement of the fence. A notice of Award will be made upon Town Council approval of staff recommendation and executed Agreement.
