Herscher CUSD#2 is seeking proposals for the removal of asbestos-containing chalkboards within a classroom. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and faculty, and the removal of asbestos is a crucial step in maintaining a healthy learning environment. The scope of work includes the safe removal of asbestos-containing chalkboards from some of our High School Classrooms. This involves proper disposal of the chalkboards and any associated materials in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Interested contractors/companies are requested to submit a comprehensive proposal that includes the following information: Overview of the company, including experience in asbestos removal projects. Detailed methodology for asbestos chalkboard removal, emphasizing safety measures. Timeline for completion of the project. Cost estimate, including all associated expenses and potential additional costs Contractors/companies must provide evidence of proper licensing, certifications, and insurance to carry out asbestos removal projects. Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations is mandatory. Proposals will be evaluated based on the contractor's experience, methodology, timeline, cost, and compliance with safety regulations.
