Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

This project will incorporate pedestrian, bicycle, and bridge improvements on Matheson Avenue from North Tryon Street to Jordan Place. The project will include a westbound one-way bicycle path along the north side of Matheson Avenue and a two- way bicycle path and sidewalk along the south side. Both sides will include a three-foot buffer between the bicycle paths and the road. Please submit questions or inquiries at least seven (7) calendar days before the Bid Due Date. Questions or inquiries past this deadline may not be addressed by the City prior to the Bid Due Date Bidding documents, which includes a downloadable copy of one (1) Project Manual and one (1) full-size Drawing set, are available for free from the Procurement Portal. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000. The City of Charlotte reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest. Following Charlotte Business INClusion goals have been established for this project: MBE = 7% WBE = 3% The estimated cost of this Project is $5m to $10m. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
