Reference Number 0000340181 In order to provide Clinton Township with contractors and subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, an approved for pump station rehabilitation must be on file with the Township prior to the bid opening. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The scope of work as outlined in the General Special Provision Section is as follows: Installing a total of three (3) Owner-provided Kohler Model: 25 CCL natural gas generators at the following locations: Little Millar Pump Station - 15660 Millar Road (Utica Road Panel Location) Sonic Pump Station - 39871 Groesbeck Hwy Brookstone Pump Station - 36530 Utica Road These generators will be mounted on concrete pads in accordance with plan details with a 3-foot wide concrete sidewalk around each generator. Pad and sidewalk installation shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Work also includes installation of an Owner-provided Kohler Model: KSS-AMTC-0104S automatic transfer switch (ATS) system at the Little Millar Pump Station and Sonic Pump Station; and an Owner-provided Kohler Model: KSS-AFTC-0150S at the Brookstone Pump Station. The needed NEMA 4X 316 Stainless Steel cabinet for each ATS system shall be sized, furnished and installed by the Contractor. A new NEMA 4X 316 Stainless Steel cabinet with a new control panel station control panel will need to be designed, furnished and installed by the Contractor for the Brookstone Pump Station. The existing control panel will need to be removed by the Contractor after the new control panel is operational. Work also includes incidental construction including, but not limited to: pavement removal and replacement, franchise utility coordination, subgrade preparation, traffic control, bypass pumping and restoration. The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 100% for two years of the Final Contract Price. A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, payable to Clinton Township, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid. -- The cost of the bonds will be paid by the accepted bidder.
