Question Deadline 02/23/2024 All questions regarding this Request for Proposal, please contact Ken Roth, Parks Superintendent, kroth@kearneygov.org Peggy Eynetich City Clerk o The proposal will include material, labor and equipment to remove 3-inches of existing material within the designated skinned infield areas for the four-field complex. o Contractor/Vendor will be responsible for replacing 3-inches of new ballfield mix and install/laser grade to finish elevations. o Base anchors will need to be adjusted to account the installation of the newly placed material. o Contractor/Vendor shall assume all responsibility for obtaining and verifying measurements. o Contractor/Vendor shall work with City staff to keep disruption of park grounds to a minimum. o Contractor/Vendor will work with the City of Kearney to determine sufficient staging areas to aid in the renovation work. o Underground Utility Locations: The contractor is required to call Digger's Hotline to locate all utilities prior to construction. The City of Kearney will mark all irrigation lines. o Construction window will be from August 10 to October 15, 2024. Project must be substantially complete by October 15, 2024.
