As of March 31, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. It is anticipated biddign will commence in October 2027. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Local Public Agency: Wayne County Board of Commissioners Project Location: Wayne County, Indiana Project Description: Bridge #705, Bridge Rehabilitation, carrying Richmond Avenue over Whitewater River. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP is being issued to solicit a letter of Interest (LOI) and other documents from firms qualified to perform engineering work on federal aid projects. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered.
