Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The site of the work is located at the Scottsbluff Facility at 2415 Avenue I. Unless specifically stated in the Advertisement for Bids, no pre-bid conference is scheduled. Access to the site is available to prospective bidders upon request. Please coordinate site visits with the owner or engineer/architect. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidders maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond on a commonly accepted form issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than three (3) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. Single-Prime (All Trades) Contract: The undersigned Bidder, having carefully examined the Procurement and Contracting Requirements, Conditions of the Contract, Drawings, Specifications, and all subsequent Addenda, as prepared by Baker & Associates Inc./Studio 120 Architecture and Architect's consultants, having visited the site, and being familiar with all conditions and requirements of the Work, hereby agrees to furnish all material, labor, equipment and services necessary to complete the construction of the above-named project, according to the requirements of the Procurement and Contracting Documents The undersigned Bidder proposes and agrees hereby to commence the Work of the Contract Documents on a date specified in a written Notice to Proceed to be issued by Architect and shall fully complete the Work by August 1, 2024. There will be a $200.00/day penalty for work not completed after August 1, 2024 The major items of work and approximate quantities under this contract are as follows: Replacement of existing sidewalks and concrete pavement of additional parking lot. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) unqualified of the amount of maximum Bid price shall be required with each Bid. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Right is reserved in the interest of the Owner to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in the Bids received.
