**The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Jones County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids for Asphalt Patching. Work contemplated herein consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and services-including traffic control as necessary- to complete the removal and replacement of asphalt street repairs throughout the County as may be requested by the Jones County Board of Commissioners on an as needed, if needed basis. This service will also include emergency situations. Asphalt patches will consist of various sizes for utility repairs, Crossings and Base failures. Compacted Hot-mix asphalt will be used in all patches. Work shall be completed throughout the term of the one-year contract resulting from this solicitation and any subsequent contract extensions. The Jones County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive minor irregularities or to select the bid that is in the best interest of the Jones County Board of Commissioners. It is the intent of the Jones County Board of Commissioners to establish a one-year contract with the inclusion of an option for renewal under the same terms and conditions, if mutually agreeable to all parties, for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods with an annual price adjustment not to exceed three percent (3%). The initial contract start date will be determined after approval of the agreement by the Jones County Board of Commissioners.
