Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, drawn to the order of HF Holding Company, LLC (Owner) in the minimum amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract, within Ten (10) days after receipt of contract documents. Bids without check or bidders bond will not be considered. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. Unless otherwise stipulated, the Contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, equipment rentals, superintendence, labor, services, taxes, insurance and all water, light, power, fuel, transportation and other facilities reasonably necessary for the execution and completion of the work covered by the Contract Documents, in accordance with this Contract. Unless otherwise specified, all materials shall be new and both workmanship and materials shall be of good quality. The Contractor shall, if required, furnish satisfactory evidence as to the kind and quality of materials. Materials or work described in words which, so applied, have a well-known technical or trade meaning shall be held to refer to such recognized standards.
