Windows Repair and Replacement Re-Bid LAST DAY FOR QUESTI ONS July 16, 2024 by 12:00 p.m Submit bidder's questions in writing to the Division of Purchases and Supplies (FAX 216-664-2177 or email purchasing@clevelandohio.gov). Questions received after the last day for questions may not be answered. The work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of, but is not limited to the following: Windows Repair and Replacement This Project primarily involves removal and replacement of sealant, painting window frames, doors and miscellaneous structural steel at six buildings at Harvard Yard Facility - 4600 Harvard Yard, Newburgh Heights, OH 44105 and Parma Facility - 5953 Deering Ave Parma Heights Oh 44130. The buildings include Harvard Yard Radio Control; Warehouse and Administration Buildings and Parma Reservoir Parma Control; EFSO and Pump Station and other miscellaneous Work as identified in the Specifications and Contract Drawings. 1. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following. General Requirements Work as specified in Division 1 including submittals; temporary construction facilities for general Contract Work and Project coordination with other contractors. a. Selective Demolition - Sealant removal. b. Limited abatement work. c. Replacing broken glass. d. Limited window replacement at Parma Facility. e. Painting - window frames, doors and miscellaneous structural steel at six buildings. f. Sealant around all openings. g. An allowance has been including in the bid proposal to be utilized as directed by the Engineer for unscheduled Work items not included on the Bid - Schedule of Items or other changes in the Work. Any portion of the allowance not utilized shall be credited to the City. h. Provide 1-year warranty at Project completion on labor and materials. 2. Scope of Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Coordination, scheduling, and management of Work of component suppliers and subcontractors. b. Furnish and install equipment as specified, utilizing existing and/or modified hoistways and machine rooms. c. Specific item of required Work which cannot be determined to be included in another contract is thereby determined to be included in this Contract. d. Unless otherwise stated below or elsewhere in the Contract Documents, Contractor shall The Undersigned further proposes to begin work as specified in the General Conditions set forth in the Invitation to Bid, and to complete the work at the time fixed by the Director, which is six (6) months after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Project Locations: Harvard Yard Facility - 4600 Harvard Yard, Newburgh Heights, OH 44105 and Parma Facility - 5953 Deering Ave Parma Heights Oh 44130
