The Scope of Work for the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following The City of Albuquerques new Sobering Center is intended to address the immediate clinical needs of persons experiencing moderate to severe intoxication with normal vital signs in a safe, lower cost site while also meeting the broader needs of the clients it serves by creating access to case management, treatment and social resources. Placing a low-barrier Sobering Center at the Gibson Health Hub has potential to be a centrally-located, 24/7 front-door and hub to services across several domains of care that are provided by the City and in collaboration with community partners. This service is intended to be utilized by Albuquerque Fire Department (AFR), Albuquerque Police Department (APD), Albuquerque Ambulance (AA), and the Albuquerque Community Services (ACS) department as a short-term drop off site for appropriate clients encountered in the community who are under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and are without other acute medical needs. If any person contemplating submitting a Bid Proposal for the Work is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or other Contract Documents, he may submit to Mullen Heller Architecture P.C. a written request for an interpretation thereof at any time no later than February 6, 2024 at 5:00pm.
