Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a 2,400-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Addition and Renovation to East Caln Township Municipal Building Project location: East Caln Township Municipal Building 110 Bell Tavern Road, Downingtown, PA 19335 This Project is subject to separate of trades. The Architect responsible to the Owner is: Architectural Concepts, PC, at 626 West Lincoln Highway, Exton, Pennsylvania, 19341. (610) 518-1596. All Requests for Information shall be in written form and transmitted to the attention of Gregory L. Shelton at gshelton@arconcepts.com. No responses will be given after 3:00 pm on Friday, February 23, 2024. A bid tabulation of all bids will be made available to all bidders within 5 working days of bid opening. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid opening. Owner will award the bid at a public meeting, the time, date and place of which shall announced at the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by AIA Document A310 - Bid Bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid plus any additive alternates (minimum rating of "A" or above). Successful bidders shall furnish insurance certificates along with Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of contract within five (5) days of notification of intent to award. Surety shall be subject to the approval of the Owner. This Work is subject to prevailing wage. Prospective prime bidders are required to attend. This Work is subject to Federal procurement standards as set forth in the Uniform Guidance at 2 CFR Section 200.317 through 2 CFR Section 200.327 and Appendix II thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any or no reason and to waive informalities and irregularities. Scopes ofWork. 1) Create handicap accessible concrete sidewalk from parking lot to new vestibule 2) addition. 3) Install new vestibule addition that matches existing aluminum framed glass 4) vestibule. 5) Change the reception office to the assistant township manager's office and remove 6) the pass-thru window. 7) Reconfigure walls and reduce the size ofthe township manager office. 8) Convert part ofthe existing township manager office into a new handicap accessible break room with new cabinets, a sink, and refrigerator. 9) Renovate the toilet rooms into handicap accessible toilet rooms, each with one sink, one wall hung sink, and grab bars. 10) Convert existing break room into a new reception office. 11) Convert existing code office into a new plan room. 12) Install gypsum board on all walls and ceiling in the second floor. 13) Install new floor finishes, wall finishes, and ceiling finishes throughout all spaces. 14) Install new lights throughout. 15) Install new mini-split system heat pump on second floor. 16) Provide electrical elements for new security devices coordinated with security 17) vendor. 18) Add to scope -Water heater in addendum #1 Bid-Results:- 1.
