Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Ajax, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The Town of Ajax is seeking to pre-qualify General Contractors with demonstrated experience in construction projects related to arena ice rink slab replacements or new installations. Prequalified General Contractors will have the opportunity to submit a bid for the Tender for the Ajax Community Centre (ACC) Pads 3 and 4 Slab & Flooring Replacement Project. Construction is expected to start in April 2025 with an anticipated completion date on or before September 2025 for Pad 3 and a start date of April 2026 and a completion date on or before September of 2026 for Pad 4. Although every attempt will be made to meet the dates indicated, the Town reserves the right to modify/change any or all of the dates at its sole discretion. Selection of Pre-Qualified Companies: Week of February 3, 2025 Bid Opportunity Issued for Project: Week of February 24, 2025 Project Commencement: Week of April 14, 2025 Project Completion: Week of August 25, 2026 Minimum of three similar rink slab and dasher board replacement projects successfully delivered within the last 5 years, demonstrating superior scheduling abilities with an approximate project value between $1,000,000 and $4,000,000.
