The County of Rockingham, (the County) a political subdivision of the State of Virginia is seeking proposals from structured cabling providers authorized to do business in the State of Virginia. The project will provide structured data cabling and audio video installation for the new fieldhouse located at Rockingham Park at the Crossroad in Rockingham County. The selected firm, under the direction of the County, shall perform in a satisfactory and proper manner all the necessary services required under this solicitation including, but not necessarily limited to, the following services: The work to be provided shall include the furnishing of all equipment, accessories, labor, and materials necessary for the installation of the following: a. Data Requirements i. 95 - CAT6 data drops ii. iii. 26 - CAT6a data drops to AP locations 1 -12 pair MM fiber pull between proposed data closets. iv. 8 - XLR3 locations for audio/timing network needed for track meets b. Audio Requirements i. ii. iii. Speaker coverage in all open areas of the building Multi-zone coverage with a paging system option from the reception area or from a mobile device A microphone option is needed in both gymnasiums and all three classrooms. c. Classroom Requirements i. ii. iii. Each classroom should have independent audio and video capabilities. All classrooms should also be able to integrate as one big classroom. A mobile device connection, preferably HDMI, is needed in each classroom for external displays.
