DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The Work Generally consists of furnishing all labor, skill, equipment, and construction materials to remove existing, furnish and install new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) as shown on the plans and specifications. The overall Project scope will be ONE Bid Package for the following work: Bid Package No. 1: All Work 1. All labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary remove existing equipment, modify electrical component for space and preparation of new equipment. 2. Shop drawings, procurement, and installation of new equipment. All Work shall be done according to the Bidding Documents. Technical bid questions shall be directed to Russ Sorenson, PE at 701-527-2451 or email at russ@pkg-inc.com. Only questions submitted by email and answered by addenda are binding to the bids. The deadline for questions is February 19, 2024. All Bids shall be prepared according to the Instruction to Bidders. Bidders will be submitting to the project CMAR and not required to obtain Bidder s Security. Bidder will be required to provide costs for Construction Performance and Payment Bond as indicated on the Bid Form. The Construction Performance Bond may be used at the discretion of the CMAR and payable to PKG Contracting, Inc. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidders and certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. CMAR reserves the right to waive bond requirements prior to award. All Bidders shall have a valid North Dakota Contractor s license of the appropriate Class for the Work, as required by Section 43-07-05 (NDCC). Bidders shall enclose a copy of their license or Certificate of Renewal with the Bid Form. No Bid will be considered unless it fully complies with the license requirements. All Bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such Work. PKG reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the Contracts for each respective Bid Package in the best interests of the Project. PKG reserves the right to hold the three (3) low Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid opening.
