The project will consist of the following improvements: Demolition of primary clarifier sludge collectors, effluent weirs and related equipment Furnish and install new primary clarifier sludge collectors, effluent weirs and related equipment Demolition and provisions for new galvanized grit cover support beams New grout fill on bottom of primary clarifiers Demolition and provisions for new walls in pretreatment facility Installation of wall stitching improvements Incidental related work The Authority will award the contract on a lump sum bid basis. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid Bidders must be licensed as Contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia (1950) as amended.
