As of today the project abondoned no longer needed Introduction The Town of Barrington, New Hampshire, is seeking proposals for the materials, shipping, and installation of a 16'x 20' wooden pavilion to host our summer concert series. The structure would be installed at 625 Franklin Pierce Highway, Barrington, NH. Installation would take place once the snow has cleared and sufficient for building. The structure would have to be built on sonar tubes, as the pavilion may need to be re-located in future years. Please send questions to jtennis@barrington.nh.gov. Background The Recreation Department started a concert series in 2023 with great feedback from the community. Based on this feedback, we will be moving forward with an expanded concert series in 2024 and need to establish a covered performance space for bands to play on. Scope We are looking to install a 16' x 20' wooden pavilion to accommodate on-site bands. Provided costs must include all site preparations & clean up, materials, equipment needed for installation, shipping, and construction to complete the project. The structure will need to be built on sonar tubes as we will not have the ability to pour a full concrete slab. This structure needs to maintain a clear site line of performances, so ensuring there is no center pole on the front side of the pavilion is required. A higher roof line in the front would be preferred.
