Renovation of an educational facility in Evesham, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Cherokee High School North Boiler Replacement. a. CHS North - Boiler Plant Upgrades 1. Removal of the existing boiler plant at Cherokee North, including existing boilers, boiler venting systems, pumps, expansion tanks and associated pumps, piping and accessories as depicted on the contract mechanical, plumbing and electrical drawings and as required to accommodate the proposed scope of the work. 2. Installation of new mechanical systems, including installation of four new natural gas condensing boilers, boiler venting systems, exhaust fans, pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, piping and accessories as scheduled and detailed. 3. Installation of new steel frames and alterations to existing structural support systems as shown and detailed on the structural drawings. 4. Alteration and reconstruction of existing housekeeping pads as required to accommodate the scope of the proposed work.. 5. Plumbing work specified and necessary to complete the scope of the work, including but not limited to gas service to the new boilers and alteration to the drainage systems. 6. Electrical work specified and necessary to complete the scope of the work. 7. BMS installation and integration as delineated within the contract mechanical drawings and specifications. 8. Restoration of existing building finished affected or altered und the scope of this contract, including but not limited to interior wall, ceiling and floor finishes, interior brick finishes and the existing roof. The existing roof at Cherokee North is under warranty. The contractor shall perform any and all repairs in accordance with the details and specifications and warranty standards specified within these documents. 2. CONTRACT FOR MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION – GENERAL REQUIREMENTS a. General Coordination responsibilities including the following: 1) Coordination of the work with other prime Contractors active on the project site. Other Contractors shall act in accordance with the schedule dictated by the Owner, and shall coordinate all construction activities through the General Contractor and Owner, as agreed and accepted by the Owner and Architect. b. Selective demolition responsibilities included within the scope of the project shall include the following: 1) Removal of wall mounted equipment and furnishings as designated and required to complete the scope of the proposed work 2) Preparation of existing concrete subfloor and substrates as required to accommodate the proposed construction. 3) Repair, patching and preparation of existing ceiling construction as required to accommodate the proposed construction, and as required to accept the specified finishes. 4) Removal and relocation of existing electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems indicated and required for the performance of the proposed work. c. Supply and installation of steel roof frames, dunnage and supports as required to accommodate the proposed mechanical construction. Note that the conditions vary at each area, and are to be field verified. d. Removal and restoration of ceiling systems and finishes, including coordination and sequencing of the work with the owner and other contractors. e. Patching of building finishes damaged or altered as a result of the work of this contract f. Patching and repair of roofing finishes. The contractor is advised that roof areas impacted by the work of this contract are under warranty. Repairs and alterations to these roof systems must be performed in strict conformation with the written requirements of the roofing system manufacturer, and performed by a roofing contractor pre-qualified by the roofing system manufacturer. Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education Lenape Regional High School District BOARD OF EDUCATION hereby requests sealed bids for Project No. 8270/Bid No. 104-24: Lenape Regional High School District - Cherokee High School North Boiler Replacement. The Bidder, or its sub-contractors, shall be classified by the State of New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction, and the New Jersey Schools Development Authority in one of the following classification: C032 HVACR* The Bidder shall further name and include all required pre-qualification information for the following Subcontractors C009 General Construction/Alterations & Additions C029 Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron C030 Plumbing* C047 Electrical* *Copy of licenses must be included with bid The Bidder, and any sub-contractor classified under the above categories must present evidence INCLUDED WITHIN THEIR FORM OF BID, of their pre-qualifications, including current New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA), Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) Copy of "Notice of Classification", Current DPMC Copy of "Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts" and Business Registration Certificate. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of NJSA 18A:18A-1 et. seq., the Public School Contracts Law. The Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education assumes no responsibility whatsoever in connection with any defects arising out of the issuance of the Contract Documents or the receipt or failure to receive bids, including those which may arise from delay for any reason in obtaining the Contract Documents or submitting the Contract Bid Forms, including but not limited to traffic delay, messengering, mislabeling, misdirections from any source, misdelivery or otherwise. When it is its best interest to do so and to the maximum extent of its discretion under applicable law, the Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of bids and alternates, may waive informalities, and may reject any or all bids
