Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Augusta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

A ten percent (10%) bid bond in favor of the Augusta Economic Development Authority is required; a one-hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one-hundred percent (100%) payment bond will be required upon award of the contract. The Owner reserves the right in all cases to reject any and all bids, or parts of bids, to waive technicalities, and to make such an award as is deemed in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities, to negotiate further with the contractor of its choice, to request additional information, to make adjustments to the plans after award, to interview, and to make an award deemed in its own best interest. All submittals shall become property of the Owner. The job will have approximate start date of April 1, 2024, and the selected bidder will need to deliver a building pad on grade meeting all compaction requirements by June 10, 2024. The Augusta Economic Development Authority will be engaging RW Allen Construction to serve as construction manager over the selected bidder. The selected bidder will have to comply with Augusta Regional Airport's policies for site access, staging of equipment, identification of equipment, and other typical airport regulations for construction work.
