Request for Information to obtain estimates for future RFQ on cost to upgrade the Access Control System and Security Camera System. The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is providing the opportunity for interested suppliers to participate in a Request for Information (RFI). The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information on products and services regarding an upgrade to the current Access Control System and Security Camera replacements. CalVet is seeking a unified Avigilon system to interact and be managed as one single system for the CalVet West Los Angeles Building located at 11500 Nimitz Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90049. The vendor input received in this RFI process will assist CalVet in refining requirements and in understanding the features and costs of products currently available for potential procurement in the future. The site currently has an access control and video surveillance system in place. Details of the current system is located on the Equipment List, see Attachment C. Vendor questions will be accepted until February 16, 2024 by 5:00 PM PST, as specified on the Key Action dates of this RFI. All vendor questions and answers to questions will be issued as an addendum to this RFI no later than February 19, 2024 by 5:00 PM PST.
