Reference Number 0000263969 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/20 12:00:00 AM MST The Corporation is requesting Proposals for the provision of brushing along transmission lines L170, L171, L173, L174, L177, L356, as needed Danger and Hazard tree removal and as needed Distribution Brushing The Work will include the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials required to perform the brushing as detailed below. These include: L170 Takhini to Carmacks L171 Aishihik to Takhini Sub L173 Carmacks to Minto Landing Sub L174 Minto Landing Sub to Pelly Sub L177 Stewart North to Callison Sub L356 Faro to Ross River As needed Danger and Hazard tree removal As needed Distribution brushing Milestone and Map documentation is attached. This documentation informs Proponents as the target objectives and maps for the Work in question. For clarity, the appendices that inform the Work are as follows: Appendix 4 - Maps: L170 Takhini to Carmacks L171 Aishihik to Takhini Sub L173 Carmacks to Minto Landing Sub L174 Minto Landing Sub to Pelly Sub L177 Stewart North to Callison Sub L356 Faro to Ross River 4.2.1 Brushing Tender Notes Requirements: a) To brush ROW sections on a Transmission line as per specifications. b) All brushing will be from edge to edge (30m cleared) unless otherwise indicated to ensure minimum clearances from conductor to vegetation at all sections brushed, as listed in Brushing Specification Appendix 5. c) Brushing areas (including milestones) as set out in Appendix 3. d) Proponent's will provide price that will include mob and demob. Refer to Appendix 3, Pricing. e) Contractor will be paid as per completed milestone identified in tender document as agreed by both parties less the holdback. f) Orientation of successful Contractor's work force is mandatory prior to commencement of work at Contractor's expense. g) Bid price to be all inclusive and pricing matrix to be returned with bid. h) Contractor must provide two weeks' notice prior to any brushing activity per tender area. Notice will be given to Manager, Ops as well as the Manager, Communications. Contact information will be provided after Contract award. i) Contractor to identify proposed milestone start and completion dates in tender.
