Renovation of an educational facility in London, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Fanshawe College Residence is interested in entering into an agreement with a contractor to replace the lock systems at R2 (Peregrine House) and R3 (Merlin House). The Residence wishes to upgrade the lock management systems as well as all swipe locks (suite entry, in-suite bedrooms, common areas, entrances, exits, etc.). A. The hardware supplier shall supply and install to the project all items of architectural finishing hardware specified herein. Scope includes the removal & turn over of existing hardware, the preparation of frame and/or door for new hardware, installation of hardware power supplies and Integration Modules (IM), low voltage wire, wire mold and terminations of door hardware components to the IM. B. The hardware supplier will be required to provide the Owner with electronic copies of riser and schematic wiring diagrams for all electrical hardware opening systems. Provide written Descriptions of Operation (DOO) for each electrified door opening for approval. Include all as- built versions of all drawings and DOO in project close out documents. C. The hardware supplier shall meet with the Owner, subcontractors, and owners representatives to instruct and coordinate the supply and installation of all electric hardware components.
