Each bidder is required to submit with his proposal a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid or certified check equal in amount to ten percent (10%) of the base bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
