Projects between the Cities of Springboro and Franklin for the landscape enhancements at the Interchange of SR 73 and I-75. The Springboro scope of work, east of I-75, includes gateway enhancements at the intersection of SR 73 and Sharts Road with the construction of a Masonry Gateway Sign with metal sign lettering and logo with wall mounted up lights, a primary gateway pier and a series of secondary brick piers. The Springboro scope of work also includes the planting of street trees located along the I-75 north bound exit ramp, the I-75 north bound on ramp and street trees lining SR 73 from Sharts Road to the I-75 Overpass. In addition to street tree planting the scope will include soil remediation, fine grading and turf seeding and restoration. The Franklin scope of work, west of I-75, includes the planting of street trees location along the I-75 south bound exit ramp, I-75 north bound on ramp and street trees lining SR 73 from Commerce Center Dr. to the I-75 Overpass. In addition to street tree planting the scope will include soil remediation, fine grading and turf seeding and restoration. The City of Springboro, Ohio reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Other questions will be accepted until 4:30pm on February 16, 2024, and if required, the City shall issue a written Addendum by February 21, 2024, which shall become part of the Construction Documents. The Engineer's estimate for City of Springboro Work is $480,000 (east of I-75) The Engineer's estimate for City of Franklin Work is $260,000 (west of I-75)
