Site work and paving for a civil project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of installing approximately 1,140 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter, 544 feet of 12" storm sewer, pavement patching, and sod placement of disturbed areas. Before plans and specifications may be obtained, contractors must be pre-qualified. The City designated Engineer will be responsible for this contract. Any questions you may have in reference to any portion of the bidding process can be directed to the Public Works Department, 309-494-8824. The City's Project Manager is Mandy Mooberry, Construction Program Manager Work shall be completed by November 1, 2024 All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
