Site work and paving for a civil project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The proposed improvements will include the construction of 63 linear feet of 42" storm sewer, 156 linear feet of 48" storm sewer, manholes and outfall, asphalt and concrete pavement removal and replacement, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, detailed grading, seeding and other site improvements as shown on the plans. The Citys Project Manager is Mandy Mooberry, Construction Program Manager. Before plans and specifications may be obtained, contractors must be pre-qualified. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
