CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/14/2024 5:00 PM Scope of Work provides Contractors a description of the goods/services being purchased under this Contractual Provisions Attachment, Response, including all documents appended to the response and expressly agreed to by the parties as set out in the Award Contract SCOPE OF WORK The College intends to contract for the base bid renovation of existing classrooms #GEB 254, GEB 375, and MTC 338 in the Midwest Trust Center (MTC) and General Education Building (GEB) into active learning classrooms. Three (3) alternate bids are also requested for classrooms #WHCA 119, MTC 124 and MTC 216 in the Midwest Trust Center (MTC) and Wylie Hospitality and Culinary Academy (WHCA). A bid guaranty equal to five percent (5%) of the bid total and made payable to "Johnson County Community College" must accompany this bid to ensure faithful performance with the conditions of this Request for Proposal/Bid and/or resulting agreement. : Prior to initiation of any work, the successful Contractor will be required to submit a Performance Bond to Procurement Services for the total amount (100%) of the Agreement as security for the faithful performance of this Agreement. All Responses shall be valid and constitute an irrevocable offer to contract on the terms and provisions contained herein for 120 days after opening, but the College reserves the right to accept or reject Responses on each item or service separately or as a whole, to reject any or all Responses, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to contract in the best interest of the College.
